Welcome to Recast’s Endpoint Management Recap, Vol. 57
by Daniel Engberg
Hi everyone!
I can feel the change in seasons here. Fall is creeping in, and the days are getting colder and darker. While it might not be the most exciting time of year, I’ve always appreciated this slower pace as a chance to focus on new projects and set plans in motion.
I’m also hopeful that 2025 will be the year I finally get to attend some events and meet all of you in the community. It’s been far too long. My last event was Ignite 2018 in Orlando, which feels crazy! I’ve been looking forward to reconnecting in person.
In this month’s recap, we’ve got some exciting updates, like Microsoft’s day-zero support for iOS/iPadOS 18 and macOS 15, plus expanded OEM integration in the Intune partner portal. These are game changers if you’re managing diverse device fleets, and I highly recommend checking them out.
Thanks for tuning in. As always, I hope you find this month’s updates helpful. Let me know if you’d like to see anything in future recaps!
Talk to you next month!

This month brings several key updates from Microsoft that are worth noting:
- Day-zero support for iOS/iPadOS 18 and macOS 15: Microsoft Intune now offers day-zero support for Apple’s latest operating systems, iOS/iPadOS 18 and macOS 15. This ensures that organizations can seamlessly manage devices running these OS versions without disruption, maintaining compliance and security immediately upon release. Read more on the Microsoft Community Hub.
- Intune expands OEM integration in partner portal: Microsoft has extended its Intune integration with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) through the partner portal. This update enhances the device lifecycle management experience by allowing organizations to leverage OEM-specific tools and capabilities directly within Intune. More details available on the Microsoft Intune Blog.
